Gazette ‘s food consists of a ‘menu principal’ changing seasonally with classics such as hot foie gras, mussels marinières, our famous tartare, some homemade charcuteries and terrines and even a large selection of Beef cuts and great healthy salads
We change our menus weekly, giving us the freedom to naturally follow the season’s availability and offer an exciting selection of ‘plats du jour’ changing regularly.The cuisine is simple and generous, based on provincial cooking reflecting the warmth of true French cuisine.
You can either stick to your old time favourite, but expect plenty of surprises at each visit with up to 24 Food event scheduled every year.
At Gazette we prepare all our juices, smoothies and milkshakes fresh on order “à la minute” which means you can mix and match any fruit you like!!!!!.
Want to start the day “á la Française” then go for some freshly cooked buttered croissant and pain au chocolat or sourdough baguette served with some delicious homemade Jams and marmalade.
If you’re feeling a little hungrier? try our ‘Full French’ cooked breakfast.

Our menu selection focuses on warmth and conviviality
Considered by our regulars as the perfect setting for family and friend gatherings, this popular area offers privacy and overlooks our massive wine cabinet; it features a large glass table seating on top of an antique farm cooker built by “Les Fonderies Bruxelloises”
Seating capacity varies up to 25 people
We can also accommodate large groups on the decking, which forms part of the restaurant, this area features thick wooden tables made from a single tree slice of “Suar” wood, lace pendants and a large leather banquette.

The slate table area which also forms part of the restaurant is available for large parties. This area features large tables made of blue-black slate from northern Wales (coloured chalks provided). Originally designed to offer the young something to do while the grownups eat, it quickly turned out that we targeted the wrong crowd !!!
